HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Founded in 1972 to serve the children of BCL Mine employees, Kopano School became an independent private institution in 2002. Today, our multicultural school accommodates approximately 500 learners, ranging from kindergarten (ages 3) to Grade 7 (age 13).
We follow both the Cambridge International Curriculum and are dedicated to creating a stimulating learning environment that ensures strong academic outcomes. Our approach extends and equips students with the knowledge and insights necessary to excel both locally and internationally. Many of our students continue their education across borders, where their success reflects the effectiveness of our holistic educational approach.
Our motivated, empathetic, and inspirational teachers are committed to developing caring and thoughtful members of society. We are also fortunate to have teacher assistants supporting our junior classes.
